A CHARACTERIZATION OF MATHEMATICS EDUCATION DEGREE MONOGRAPHS AT UFT - ARRAIAS (2019 - 2023)

In this work, we characterize the published monographs from the Mathematics Teaching degree at the Federal University of Tocantins, Arraias campus, between 2019 and 2023, in order to answer which themes and thematic focuses were addressed in the works. In our research, we explore the archives of the UFT Repository, specifically the Digital Library of Monographs at the Arraias campus, aiming to characterize the 52 identified productions, with 37 linked to the field of Mathematics Education and 15 to the field of Pure and Applied Mathematics. The research revealed that the most addressed thematic focuses in the Mathematics Education monographs were mainly the Initial Training of Mathematics teachers and the use of Digital Technologies for Mathematics teaching. On the other hand, the Pure and Applied Mathematics monographs presented a variety of topics, with Differential Equations standing out as the most relevant. Furthermore, it was observed that from the year 2022 onwards, the number of monographs defended in this period tends to equalize. This data raises interest for future research seeking to investigate this trend of undergraduates in a Mathematics teaching degree program being more motivated to produce works with characteristics more oriented towards the bachelor's degree profile.
